Who created Buddytree and why?

Buddytree was developed by Glen Brauer who is the founder of the Meaningful Discussions project...

Glen Brauer
I believe that anyone can have the kinds of friendships they've always wanted as long as they are willing to put in the effort.
My specialty areas:
having better conversations
I'm the founder of the Meaningful Discussions project with thousands of members in 11 countries. I've facilitated over 150 discussions over the last eight years. I've also researched a lot about how to improve one's conversation skills.
developing a sense of community
I've worked hard to build up a community of friends whom I see at least once a month. I believe that having a community of friends in your life is such a wonderful thing. It's something that anyone can do and I'm excited to help others create what I've created.
becoming an organizer
I've been an organizer with my friends for many years. I organize potlucks for larger my community of friends, I organize smaller gatherings for road trips, hikes, and checking out movies together, and I also organize one-one-one hangouts with friends as well.
Other areas I can help with:
developing male friendships
developing female friendships
having more fun and laughter
developing deeper connections
having more one-on-one time
having more group experiences
dealing with loneliness & isolation
dealing with friendship breakups
dealing with fear of rejection
dealing with shyness/social anxiety
having more confidence/self-esteem
More about me:
I've been researching the art and science of friendship for the past five years. I've interviewed psychologists, clinical counselors, social workers, and many other people in order to develop my friendship skills and pass them on to others.
